Client Success Story: Tracy from Toronto

 

I’m thrilled to share another client success story with you, Tracy’s story. My hope is that it will inspire you to better health. Just like Emma, and many others, you will see a common theme with those who are successful: lifestyle changes and stress reduction.

I consulted Tracy as a result of her attending our Eat Well Feel Well program in Toronto in March 2010.  When she came to me, she was ready for a lifestyle plan that increased her health and was able to support the major life transition she was currently facing at the time. She was looking for a lifestyle that increased her energy and was able to sustain a high level activity.

Here is Tracy’s story, in her words:

“Since I began with you nutrition coaching me and doing Michelle’s yoga classes in 2010, my life has changed in all areas.  Not only am I the healthiest that I have been in 10 years but I have more energy to enjoy the things that bring me joy.  I LOVE my new life.  You recommended a detox plan which reduced the amount of sugar in my diet and at first I was resistant but now I LOVE eating greens and healthy food. I never thought I would stop eating my Kellogg’s cereal I actually look forward to my “Brain Power” Smoothies in the morning. It is amazing how much your energy will increase when you begin eating foods that support your health.

The most noticeable changes were my hair and skin which is no longer full of split ends and fizziness but amazingly shiny and healthy.  My skin is now clear and no longer filled with clogged pores. The best outcome which I was not expecting is that I lost over 28 lbs and went down 5 sizes-wahoo!  I can now get back into clothes that I have not worn in 7 years! Without even thinking about diets or what I was eating, I just began focusing on your suggestions on the foods that would increase my immune system as well as the exercises that would support my lifestyle.

It was not just the food that influenced these big changes in my life but it was your holistic approach to change that made the difference.  You recommended right off that intense “boot camp style” exercise would be very tough on my system and that I needed exercises that would support my healing and stress reduction which was yoga.  That suggestion has changed my life tremendously.  Not only am I more calmer and able to handle stress more effectively–I feel alive.  You were clearly able to understand my needs and my current situation to develop a holistic plan on food and exercise that would support my lifestyle.

I am also more aware of the foods that bring me energy as well as take away my energy.  You educated me on the effects of candida and how it impacts the body, mind and emotions.  I am now so aware when any symptoms of candida arise.  I am able to get myself back on track much more quickly than before. About two years ago, I was at the doctor’s office at least once a month and now I simply go to the doctor for regular check-ups and normal colds.  What a difference!

I feel amazing and most importantly the changes that you suggested has impacted other areas of my life. I am now healthier than I have ever been, I have been promoted at work which would have never occurred without your suggested plan and I have a new sense of “self-love and care” that is required to support my lifestyle.  I am truly grateful to my “Eat Well Feel Well ladies”—THANK YOU!”
